What we did

Use nasal spray for red eyes, all-purpose cleaner as foot cream, or hemorrhoid cream in the face? Swedish Internet forums are filled with creative solutions on how to cure diseases and everyday problems. But when it comes to medication it is important to be able to rely on the information to be correct. In the video series “Pharmacists React to” a number of pharmacists reacted to the Internet myths in the same humorous format as other “React to” series on Youtube.

The video series created great engagement on Apotek Hjärtats social media channels where the content was published. The video content resulted in conversations in social media and was viewed by more than 100.000 Swedes in just two weeks. The campaign was also picked up by earned media which resulted in a number of articles both in Swedish and international media.
